 Compelling Marketing Communications was originally known as Innovative Web Services. We changed our name to reflect the additional marketing solutions we provide to small businesses. This expansion was a direct result of our clients asking us to apply our writing and design skills to creating marketing materials such as brochures, business cards, newsletters, and other compelling marketing materials, in addition to our web site design services.
With a team of a business planner, graphic designers, copy and business writers and technology experts, Compelling Marketing Communications has the resources to make your marketing campaign a big success. And we've been in business since 1999 so you know we'll be around for a long time to come. |

Alice has joined the Compelling Marketing Communications to be that second pair of eyes we all wish we had. She is responsible for editing whatever we write for our clients' web sites, newsletters, brochures, etc.

Phil joined us to make our team even stronger in the area of image expertise. His background in web site and logo design strengthens our ability to deliver high impact visual designs. Phil strives towards visual perfection. He won't stop until every project exceeds all graphical expectations.
Phil has attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and Manchester Community College for graphic design.
He now creates and updates visually stunning award winning web sites. Have you ever seen the absolute coolest animation and wondered how people create it? Flash is the answer. And Phil is our Flash guru.

Nicki Ley brings a unique creative vision to the team with a solid background in graphic design and public relations representing both the entertainment and corporate markets. She finds creative inspiration in almost everything that she encounters and is constantly in "learn" mode. Nicki recognizes the importance of staying in tune in an ever-evolving field and finds this to be one of the most exciting aspects of the design world. She looks forward to bringing your vision to life.

Vanessa Valentine,
Graphic Designer, Photographer
Vanessa has a wealth of experience conceptualizing, designing, illustrating and producing everything from annual reports, brochures, newsletters, business collateral and direct-mail advertising to packaging, promotional items and trade-show graphics. And now Vanessa is bringing all that experience to the world wide web.
After graduating from the University of Connecticut with a major in graphic design, Vanessa began her career at The Marketing Corporation of America in Westport, CT. She held the position of Senior Art Director (overseeing both creative and production departments) for other agencies before starting her full-service, freelance design business in 2000.
Vanessa's client portfolio is an eclectic mix, including American Express, FritoLay, Hitchcock Furniture, Hublein/Cuervo, IBM, International Aero-Engines (IAE), Lipton, MassMutual, Panasonic, Sony, Stanley Tools and Trex Medical, as well as local chambers of commerce and printing establishments.
Vanessa lives her creative life near a lake in central Connecticut with her husband and her two children.
